Through the Magpie Eye: Blade Runner Model Makers

Five model makers gathered round a workbench of drawings and model parts in the Blade Runner model shop

If you like photographs of mustachioed men fettling with little models of futuristic cars, then you’ll love these behind the scenes shots from the Blade Runner model making studio. Mysteriously uploaded to the world wide web a few days ago, these pictures show normal people, not unlike you or I, constructing the vehicles and sets for one of the best science fiction films around — using little more than an Airfix kit. Truly inspirational stuff.
