You may remember a blog post a while back by Mike Sallabank documenting his trip to Lisbon, to remind yourself you can take a look here.
If you looked through Mike's blog post you might have come across a comment from a ‘Peter Griffin’. If you didn't get that far, or didn't fancy taking a look, 'Peter Griffin' described Mike’s blog post as “mind numbingly boring to look at. Id rather watch a radiator warm up”. However, I actually throughly enjoyed his photographs. So much so, that I decided to book myself a trip over to Portugal’s capital city.
Although Lisbon isn’t a huge city, I still found that one week just wasn’t enough and I hope to return again sometime soon. Between climbing endless and winding cobbled streets in Alfama to bathing in the summer sun on beaches in Cascais, I managed to go to a one day music festival, climb around about 1,380 ft to Castelo dos Mouros and watch about five of the Euros group games all whilst living on a strict diet of Pastel De Natas.
Unlike Mike’s photographs, mine were shot on 35mm film, and if you’re reading this ‘Peter Griffin’ – enjoy.
