Dispatches from Marrakech

It’s been a while since we did one of these ‘dispatches’ article, but when Ekun from our Manchester shop told us he’d recently been to Morocco, we wanted to see what he’d been up to.

Not only did he get some cracking snaps, but he also managed to jot down some sketches of his trip, paint some pictures AND make a rug. A productive voyage, to say the least.

“In Morocco the walls are much better. This is one thing I learned whist wandering about the streets of Marrakech earlier this year. I went out there looking for shapes and words for my paintings and came back with ideas of making rugs.”
