The same wool pile as the five finger, but as a mitten, which is warmer because your fingers keep each other company. Elmer are Swany of Kagawa, Japan, glove makers since 1937 and named after an 1893 firm from Gloversville, New York. There is a split in the palm so you can get your fingers out for a key or a phone without the whole thing coming off. Beige and blue is the gentle one.
