PORTER-YOSHIDA AND CO

Kichizo Yoshida carried his belongings out of the 1923 Kanto earthquake roped together, and decided a bag was a tool before it was anything else. He set up Yoshida & Co in Tokyo in 1935 and the Porter line followed in 1962, named after hotel porters. Everything is still made in Japan by a network of small workshops. We stock the Force, Crag, Flex, Ride and Smoky series: daypacks, shoulder bags, totes and the Dill wallets, mostly in navy and olive drab. Nobody has ever regretted either.
