Big John made the first jeans ever produced in Japan, in Kojima, Okayama, in the 1960s, and Kojima has been the centre of Japanese denim ever since. Selvedge denim, proper rivets and cuts that have not chased a trend in fifty years. Raw or washed, all made in Japan.
