Carbon Gray

Sale price£75.00
  • Style GL95383
  • 100% nylon face, 100% polyester lining
  • Goldwin original ripstop with black dope dyed yarn in the weft
  • Water repellent finish
  • Five panel with a slightly extended brim
  • Rear strap adjuster
  • Partly recycled yarn

Dope dyeing means the pigment goes into the molten polymer before the yarn is even extruded, so the colour sits inside the fibre rather than on top of it. Goldwin run the black dope dyed yarn through the weft only, which gives the cloth a shadowed depth you cannot get out of a dyebath, and it uses a fraction of the water. Five panels, water repellent, and a brim slightly longer than most.
