0PO3292S 24/31 52 Sunglasses

Havana / Green

Sale price£258.00
  • Hand made Italian acetate frame in Havana
  • Green crystal lenses, which in Persol's language means mineral glass
  • Not polarised
  • 52mm lens width
  • Keyhole bridge
  • Meflecto flexible stems
  • Supreme Arrow at the temple hinge
  • Persol case and cleaning cloth included

Giuseppe Ratti started Persol in Turin in 1917, making glasses for aviators and racing drivers, and the name is short for per il sole, for the sun. Two things have carried through since: the Meflecto system, metal cylinders set into the arms so they flex to the shape of your head rather than grip it, and the Supreme Arrow at the hinge. The lenses here are green crystal, which for Persol means actual mineral glass. A squarer archive shape than the 649 everyone knows.
