Boot socks in the proper sense, thick enough that you need to think about which boots you are putting them in. RoToTo knit these in Nara, where about 40% of all socks made in Japan come from, blending acrylic and wool into a deep pile and then facing the foot in cotton so the bit that takes the punishment lasts. Dark purple and dark green, which is a braver pairing than it sounds.
