Est. 1993 is stitched on the front, which is when Ralph Lauren started RRL and named it for the ranch he and Ricky keep in Colorado, with the ranch brand sat above it. The twill is Japanese cotton, washed down so the khaki has already softened. The crown runs a touch deeper than a standard cap, the underbrim is green, and the strap at the back is leather on an antiqued brass buckle. Khaki, which was the colour of the cap before anyone chose colours for caps.
