Trousers, but the good sort. These are the Vardag Relaxed from Fjallraven, in hard-wearing G-1000 with an elasticated back waist and adjustable leg endings so you can get the length spot on. Two hand pockets, two patch pockets round the back. Fossil is a soft stone colour that'll take a bit of mud without shouting about it.
