Knitted thick and dense on purpose, so they feel like the cloth of an old rugby shirt rather than a normal sock. RoToTo use a cotton called RAFFY, spun unevenly by a method that has not changed in fifty years, which is why the surface has a bit of life to it. Made in Nara, where about 40% of Japan's socks come from. White, so you will be careful with the wash.
