Oilcloth is cotton with a wax or oil finish worked in, which is what kept rain off before nylon existed, and RRL have printed a plaid onto it and bound the edges in leather. The flap closes with two buckled straps, the front pocket with collar-stud leather tabs, and inside it is lined in cotton chamois with a zip pocket and a D-ring for keys. Forty centimetres across, with a leather shoulder strap that comes off. Navy plaid, which reads as a blanket until you get closer.
