Pebbled leather is the grained sort, which is useful on a bag because it hides the marks that smooth leather turns into a diary of your week. Ralph Lauren have kept the shape plain, lined it in cotton twill and put a strap on it that drops to 67.5cm. At 34.5 by 25 it takes a laptop and a notebook and not a great deal else, which is often the point.
