Down jackets and campfires have never got on. Snow Peak's answer is a shell of 96% polyester and 4% aramid, which is to say Kevlar woven in, so a stray spark doesn't melt a hole straight through. Underneath it's 800 fill power water-repellent down. Sit as close to the fire as you like. That's rather the whole idea.
