PrimaLoft was developed for the US Army because down is no use once it gets wet, and Elmer use it here to keep the glove thin. Swany, the Kagawa glove maker behind Elmer, have been at it since 1937, so the fit is properly worked out rather than just padded. Water repellent finish outside, polyester lining inside, and fingertips that still work on a phone.
