The pocket bags are mesh, so unzipping them vents the jacket rather than just opening a hole. Goldwin do a lot of this sort of thing: the hood drawcord is hidden inside so it can't snag, and the cuff fasteners have a slit in them so they bend round your wrist instead of fighting it. 20 denier ripstop, water repellent, packs down small. Recycled yarn from bottles.
