Dotsume means densely knitted, and Jackman take it to an extreme most mills won't attempt. The cloth is made on old hanging knitting machines, slowly, which is why it has that weight and body. There's a triangle gusset under each arm so you can still lift them. Made in Fukui. Olive. Not a light garment, and not meant to be.
