Dame Margaret Barbour designed the Bedale in 1980 with equestrian practicalities in mind, and the Classic is the version with the tartan lining and the zip in compatibility. Six ounces of waxed cotton, a sit down corduroy collar, bellows pockets and handwarmers lined in moleskin so your fingers stay warm. Barbour say over 75,000 wax jackets a year go through their global repair and re-wax service, which tells you how long these last.
