Devold have been working with wool in Norway since 1853, so a sock is not exactly a stretch for them. The Archive takes its look from old outdoor leisurewear and is mostly merino, with polyamide and a little elastane so it holds its shape rather than sagging round your ankle by lunchtime. Wool also means you can get away with wearing them two days running, not that we are suggesting it.
