G-1000 is Fjällräven's own polyester and cotton cloth, going since 1968, and the Lite version is the thin one for when it is warm. Sixty five grams, ventilation holes sewn into the side panels, elastic at the back so it stays on your head. You can rub Greenland Wax into it if you want it to shrug off rain, or leave it alone and let it breathe.
