Hestra started in the Swedish village of the same name in the 1930s and is still run by the Magnusson family, now the fourth generation. The Daniel puts goatskin where the wear is, on the palm and fingers, and Swedish made felted wool across the back of the hand, which is warmer than leather and a good deal better looking. PrimaLoft inside, brushed fleece against the skin, and an eyelet so the pair can hang off a bag rather than get lost.
