The 1954 is a new shape rather than a reissue, though New Balance have gone through their own archive to build it: the upper takes from the 2002 and 1906, the mesh layout from the 2010 and the honeycomb overlays from the 860. Pig suede sits down the middle, ABZORB does the cushioning and N-Lock pulls the midfoot in. Sea Salt and Linen keeps the whole thing quiet.
