YETI's first product was the Tundra cooler, built in 2006 because Roy and Ryan Seiders could not find one that survived a Texas summer. The Roadie 8 is the smallest thing they make in that line: twelve cans or four kilos of ice, a single latch you can work one handed while holding a fishing rod, and tie-down slots so it does not launch itself out of the back of a pickup. It is also tall enough for three bottles of wine, which is a different sort of trip entirely.
