The CT500 came out in 1982 as part of New Balance's court range, back when tennis shoes were made of leather and nobody had thought of putting a chunk of foam in them. This one keeps the polyurethane midsole and the herringbone sole with the pivot circle under the ball of the foot. Pigskin suede and nubuck, perforated toe box, pearl grey. Quiet, in the right way.
