Ralph Lauren put the Polo shirt out in 1972 and the mesh version is the one that actually breathes. This is the Custom Slim Fit, cut closer through the waist than the standard and holding the sleeve nearer the bicep, so it sits better under a jacket. Nutmeg Brown is the quieter of the two colourways in, and the tennis tail at the back means it stays tucked.
