Force uses the 210 denier nylon originally spun for inflatable boats, and the orange quilted lining comes from military flight jackets, built to be turned inside out so a downed pilot could be spotted from the air. Yoshida and Co have been making bags in Tokyo since 1935 and Porter has been theirs since 1962. The small shoulder bag holds a phone, a wallet and a paperback, and the pouch inside comes out if you only need those.
