Monokel are a Stockholm outfit who make their frames from Mazzucchelli bio-acetate, a plant based material spun out of cotton and wood pulp rather than oil. Matt Cola is a flat dark brown, and the grey gradient lenses run dark at the top to lighter at the bottom, which helps when you need to read a menu.
