Pile knit means loops on the inside, so the sole is cushioned in a way a flat knit never is. RoToTo use a cotton and nylon blend that breathes and lasts, then stripe it in marl yarn so the colours look slightly faded from the off. Black and beige. Made in Japan, and they'll see off a good few pairs of boots.
