Spring may well be on its way, but to Autumnal Hugh and his autumnal hues, it’s perpetually November. Even in the midst of summer, he’ll spend his days wandering town challenging people to a conker fight, all the while chewing on a bonfire toffee sandwich. When it comes to his get-up, if it’s not brown, grey, aurburn or taupe he doesn’t want to know, and when it looks like this, who are we to argue? We just wish he’d stop setting off Catherine wheels and roman candles every time he comes in the shop.
