LEFT HAND X MEANFORME

A mean forme is the pattern averaged from the inside and outside of a last, and uppers are cut from it. Steve Tuite took the term for his own brand after thirty-odd years developing footwear, and the shoes are made in Felgueiras, Portugal, at a family factory a cobbler started in 1938. The Saragozza is Left Hand's first footwear collaboration, named after a district of Bologna and built the Bologna way, with no rigid insole. The fringe is borrowed from the raw-cut edge of a 1993 Left Hand Micro jacket. Tobacco suede, crepe sole.
