COMMON PROJECTS

Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami started Common Projects in 2004, one American and one Italian, and named it after what it was. The Achilles came from asking an Italian dress-shoe factory in the Marche to make a trainer, and the gold number on the heel tells you the style, the size and the colour, in that order. Ours is the BBall Slim in deconstructed suede, taupe. Made in Italy, and there is no logo anywhere on it.
