New York in the 1980s may have been a complete cesspit, but what a magnificent cesspit it must have been. Alright, living in the constant fear of knife attacks probably isn’t much fun, but it certainly makes for good photos. These here candid-captures were taken on the New York subway in 1981 by a young go-getter known as Christopher Morris, and if you’re into colour photographs of graffiti-strewn transport networks (and who isn’t?) then you’re in for a treat.
