Seersucker exists so that cloth does not sit flat against you in the heat, and this is a 100% cotton version in a light indigo wash. Paul Smith has been putting colour into otherwise sensible menswear since he opened up in Nottingham in 1970, and here the flourish is a contrast lining hidden in the yoke. Cut relaxed, short sleeved and crumpled by design, so ironing it would rather miss the point.
