The long anticipated return of the Clarks Desert Rain is upon us at last.
Over the last decade or so, we’ve had lads come in the shop sporting a pair from when they were last released, leaving us harbouring a not-so-secret yearning to see Clarks bring them back out. Well we need not yearn a moment longer because they’re here.
Featuring a crepe sole and suede upper they are the more laid back, bohemian cousin of the Clarks Desert Boot. The best bit of course is the price. If you’re a fan of moccasins like this, you’ll be used to paying a fair bit more for American-made Quoddys or Yuketens, or Native Craftworks, made in Portugal. All have their merits and all are well worth the money, but if you’re slightly skinted rather than slightly minted, the Desert Rain are priced right for you.
