Clarks in Jamaica : The book launch and dinner dance

A couple of weeks back we threw a party down at Soup Kitchen to mark the launch of Al Finger’s new book, Clarks in Jamaica. To celebrate in fine style we teamed up with long-time dance keepers HOTMILK and enlisted Ashley Beedle (Girl’s Music) as guest selector and chef for the evening. What started out as a civilised bite to eat whilst discussing the humble Clarks Booty quickly descended into something else, with dinner-tables becoming dance-floor. “Ting tun up” as they say on the island.
