The scent of disposable barbeques in the air, shoppers scrambling in the refrigerated aisle for ice-pops and a feast of pasty rolls of flesh on show… yep, it can only mean one thing — ENGLAND PLUNGED INTO HEATWAVE FRENZY, or at least a slightly warmer than usual week in March. While this weather certainly makes a nice change from the usual wet-weather-washouts, it can be hard to avoid looking like a sun-burnt Benidorm holiday-maker.
Luckily the euro-boys at Norse Projects are at hand with some more dignified summer-wear in the form of crisp Oxford shirts, a Henley shirt for all the rowers in the audience and a heavy-duty parka for when the sun goes in.

No matter how hot it is, thanks to the heat-wave-booze-up glass on the pavement, you’re still going to need something on your feet… something like a pair of Quoddy moccasins, perhaps? All the way from Maine, New England, Quoddy are responsible for making some of the best moccasins outside of the reservation. But it’s not just the usual earth-tones from Quoddy, someone at HQ must have got their hands on the peyote, ‘cause they’ve only gone and bloody well made some bright blue and green mocco’s.

Hailing from the premier holiday destination of Paris, la garcons au A.P.C. are no strangers to hot-weather cool. Striped t-shirts? Linen knits? A Jacko-on-a-yacht inspired sweatshirt? “Où est la bibliothèque?” indeed.

If that wasn’t enough, also online this week are some great bits of tech from Stone Island, including pac-a-macs from the future, super-sharp sweat-wear and a jacket which is apparently the best thing one Oi Polloi founder has ever seen…
