The pattern comes from the fishtail parkas the US Army issued in Korea, which is the right starting point for a coat meant to see out a British winter. Ten C build it in 12oz OJJ, the heaviest weight they use: Japanese yarn knitted into a dense nylon and polyester jersey, then cut, sewn and dyed in Italy. The hood comes off and has a wire in the brim so you can shape it. Liners are extra.
