A sports sock, which is not something Anonymous Ism do often, with a pile knit sole that puts a cushion of loops under the foot and a tighter knit over the heel, ankle and arch to hold it in place. Nylon runs from heel to toe for wear. Half length, so it clears a trainer and stops there. Anonymous Ism have been knitting in Nara since 2002. Khaki reads as a hiking sock, which is about right for a sock built like one.
