Barbour's Classic Tartan dates from 1998, when Margaret and Helen Barbour based it on the Ayrshire District sett, the part of Scotland the family came from in the 13th century. It was made to go with their waxed jackets, and here it covers a 97cm canopy instead. The shaft is telescopic, so it packs down to 32cm, and the handle is wood.
