A trigger mitt keeps the index finger on its own so you can still work a zip or a camera, and Elmer size this one to go over the top of a liner. Swany of Kagawa, Japan have been making gloves since 1937, a good deal of it for people going up mountains, and it shows in the drawcord cuffs and the loops for clipping the pair to a pack.
