Filson patented the Cruiser in 1914 for timber cruisers, the men who walked the Pacific Northwest valuing standing timber, and the ten pockets were the point of it. Fourteen ounce oil finish Tin Cloth, doubled across the back, the outer sleeves and the front cape, so the parts that meet the brush have two layers of waxed cotton. Cotton canvas body lining, polyester in the sleeves.
