G-1000 is Fjällräven's own cloth, a tight polyester and cotton weave that breathes untreated and turns rain once you've rubbed Greenland Wax into it. The No. 8 is the heavy end of that, at eleven hundred grams, with HeavyDuty reinforcement across the shoulders, sleeves and lower back. Long zips down both sides, which is how you get into it and how you let the heat out. Dark Olive.
