HC stands for High Coast, the stretch of Swedish coastline where Fjallraven started, and the range is meant for everyday outdoor use. The Hydratic Trail is a 2.5 layer waterproof in stretch recycled polyester, rated to 10,000mm and breathable enough for a walk uphill. It weighs 374 grams, with zipped vents at the sides and a hood that goes over a helmet. It is cut roomy enough to layer underneath.
