Dotsume means the knit has been tightened, more stitches packed into the same area, so the same yarn comes out denser and heavier. At around eleven and a half ounces this is the result. Ring spun American cotton, made in Japan by Tanabe Meriyasu, who have been at it in Fukui since 1949. Because the cloth barely stretches they widened the hem and shortened the sleeves so you can get into it.
