This is the one. René Lacoste put the L.12.12 into the world in 1933 and more or less invented the polo shirt as everyone now understands it, collar, placket, petit piqué and all. Lacoste reckon there's 20 kilometres of thread in each one and 2,367 stitches in the crocodile. Beige, mother-of-pearl buttons, no need to overthink it.
