Carded wool rather than worsted, which means the yarn holds more air and keeps a rougher, more honest surface. Lacoste have knitted this one at 7 gauge so it is properly chunky, with deep ribs at the collar, cuffs and waist to hold the shape. It runs large, so size down unless you want it slouchy.
