Ripstop is a nylon woven with a grid of heavier threads through it, so a tear stops at the next line instead of running, which is why it went on parachutes first. Oi Polloi have made a five panel cap out of it and made it waterproof, for the fairly specific job of walking about Manchester with a dry head. Adjustable strap at the back, one size. Pale Grey is the colour of the sky it was built for.
