On a winter climbing trip to Scotland in 1970, Yvon Chouinard bought a rugby shirt to climb in, because the heavy collar kept the hardware slings from cutting into his neck. He started importing them, and the rugby shirt became one of Patagonia's first pieces of clothing. This one is Regenerative Organic Certified cotton jersey with a woven collar and a three button placket, made in Peru.
