Patagonia use recycled microdenier polyester for this lightweight fleece, with an anti-pilling finish on both sides to keep the surface looking tidy. The quarter zip runs into a stand-up collar, giving you some control over ventilation without having to take the whole thing off. At 258g, it works as a light layer under a jacket or on its own when the temperature allows. Den Brown is a sensible colour, which is probably why it keeps turning up.
